I CHOOSE THE BEAR - A BEAR-SHIFTER ROMANCE

The hardback with dust jacket proof is in!

There are still a couple of small things...

If you see here, up at the top, the words front cover are still on the cover.  That's my fault.  I have to fix that but that's an easy fix.

The illustrations are all squared away now.

I have to order one more proof because the interior map still isn't square and I need to make sure the underjacket design is okay, but once I get it in, and it SHOULD be the last time, I'll be able to order he rest of the copies in and start working on fulfillment.

Overall, it looks great.

The color is gorgeous and the gold font/graphics look amazing.

I adore matte covers. Adore them. I think they look more elegant than glossy covers. But if you look pretty close, you can see streaks where I wiped away the fingerprints.

Yep. Everywhere I touched this pretty book, I left a print.

Sigh. So, I suppose I'm switching to glossy cover.

I did the lay-out and design for the trade cover myself and while overall, I'm delighted with how it looks, and while overall, this cover looks great as an ebook...(see below)

The shadow on the text doesn't translate well for the print cover.  So I have to adjust that.

I love how the bear graphic how the back turned out.

The interior images look amazing, for the most part, but I didn't size them well. I use a different print for my crowdfunding campaigns - the books are higher quality, etc, but it's a learning process, adjusting to a new company. Although, for me, everything is a learning process.

That faint white line is a bit of a problem I need to fix. I'll get that done.

These fixes won't take long, though, then it's just getting the big order in.

As always, thank you for your patience.

If anybody is looking for books for their favorite booklover for Christmas, check out my campaign for the Holiday Market, books ready to ship...urban fantasy, romantasy and melt-your-face-off paranormal erotic romance.

Make sure to join the launch party and follow the project for a chance at discount tiers.

And the proofs have been ordered!

I'd hoped to have it done earlier but it is done! I expect the trade paperbacks will be fine but this is my first time doing a book with a book jacket and I learn through trial and error. I expect my first book will have an error or two, so I might have to order a second proof before I'm happy.

But the hard work is done and it shouldn't be long before I have the books in hand and can start shipping.

I'll let you know in advance since shipping still needs to be charged.

Let me present The ABCs of Romance, a fun, cheeky pin collection for lovers of romance. We start wih A for Alpha.

I'm participating in Pintopia. I have three designs in mind... A, B & C, with A being the first. The above design will be the main pin featured and B & C will be released as stretch goals. Join me at the launch party to stay up to date and have a chance to access secret tiers!

So, you know the book is done.

The ebook itself has been distributed.

it's currently being formatted for print distribution.

Some of you have probably already finished reading the ebook, although I will be sending out a second file. I had to wait to hear back from one of my backers for a final scene which was just now worked into the book itself.

Since that's finally done, I'm finishing up the print formatting for the book.

Once I get the final copy ready, I'll upload to my printer and we'll be ready to get the first proof printed and sent.

I'm hopeful I'll have the order sent in within the next week or so.

In the meantime...

The clock is ticking for my current project, The Pretern Wars.

The Pretern Wars, an exciting omnibus for those who love:
fated mates
rejected mates
star-crossed lovers
mermaids
dragons

As previous backers, you can get a discount on select tiers, too!

Thank you for your patience and support!

Most of the eBook rewards have been sent!

There's one more I'm still trying to get formatted by I didn't want to hold up the rewards anymore.

If you didn't get your reward, make sure your payment went through and make sure the email on file is update to date.

If it did and if it is and you still didn't get a notification about the reward, check your spam filter. If no notice, send me a message through BK.

Thank you for your patience!!
