Heya, folks! Time for another trivia question. By participating in 80% or more of the questions, you'll win a cool prize. And you don't even have to guess right! It's only fair, since I'm looking to be as sneaky as possible.

I'm going to over a tiny bit of insight. Don't assume I stick only to western folklore and mythology when researching and world-building. The world is a big, wide place after all and eastern mythology predates western by...well, millennia in some areas.



Just a reminder for those tuning in, here's what's happening:

I want to give you a chance to guess at Ivy’s heritage. We’re going to play some trivia…but FYI, I’m tricky. Some answers will be tricky. Sometimes the answer won’t be there. Sometimes, multiple answers will be correct…but only one will apply to Ivy.

To make it fun, though, what I’m looking for is participation. Whether you get it right or not, backers of physical tiers who participate and answer 80% or more of the questions will receive a small bonus, handmade prize, something unique to Ivy’s heritage.

And it's a game where nobody loses...unless you just don't play.

There will be a series of questions and as long as you participate in 80% of the questions, you'll get a prize, a little symbol of Ivy's heritage, to be mailed out with your rewards when it's time.

The questions will be posted in the polls...but be warned. As the poll progressed, people might figure out Ivy's secret.

If you don't want to have the secret spoiled...well, I guess you shouldn't play. However, there are layers to her secrets. Like ogres and onions. Cakes and parfaits. Yes, that's a Shrek reference. And some of that secret, you will never guess without reading the story.

FYI, team names don't indicate *anything* at this point other than that's just the name you like, although, you will see this list again.

This is one of the illustrations that will be in the book.

It will also be used for vellum art. If you have ordered the two or three pack, you will receive this! You don't need to do anything extra!

He's amazing, isn't he? I was thrilled! 

I'll have one or two of them together, including more intimate scenes, kissing, probably one NSFW image and maybe a couple of their friends, including Liam, Ivy's best friend, who you haven't met & their partner! 

My gob is smacked. Gobsmacked. Totally.

We're not even fully 72 hours in and we're over $5k. Thank you so much.


I've updated the stretch goals to reflect where we currently stand.



I've reached out to a cartographer about an illustrated map and I think I've got a solid idea in mind of what we'll be doing.

Currently, we have a total of eight black-and-white illustrations in the book, several of which will be used for inserts and I'll be talking with my illustrator to have a couple of those converted to color.
